Founder Justin Powers is a 7th generation resident of the Kern River Valley, and has a deep connection with the community and its leaders. Over the past 5 years Justin has invested deeply into building Kernville Cowork into a collaborative space for the benefit of the community. Before that Justin has been tapped for community leadership positions such as the chair of the Kern Valley Long Term Recovery Group and served as an elder for a local church.
